Bull X-Fighters in Mexico City.
That means he’s got his work cut out for him to make it to X Games. Here’s an
update from the man himself:
My recovery has been
somewhat amazing, and for me to be amazed after breaking so many bones in my
life is something to be said, you would think I had healing bones down to a
fine art by now. What the team here at RedBull’s training facility in Austria
has done for me in the past 4 weeks has been amazing, from the day I arrived (3
days after surgery) I have been on a full overhaul of my entire body, it
started off light but now I’m into a full program. The work I have had done on
me is incredible, I have a team of specialist from a Doctor, physiotherapist,
sports psychologist, sports medical team and all the equipment you could
imagine to train on, we do a lot of small things every day that all aid to the
healing process, after 3 weeks I was standing and now 4 weeks later I’m
walking, doing squats, cycling and swimming.
My immediate goal is to get
back on my CR-250 for X-Games, with only 7 weeks from the time of injury to the
start of X-Games it has been a tough goal, but so far I’m on schedule to be
there and to be 100% fit!
