Mike Blabac, a venerable lensmen with 20 years of iconic imagery under his belt, has made a career shooting skateboarding; capturing some its best and most iconic personalities in the height of their athletic achievement. Be it Danny Way's Great Wall of China leap, Rob Dyrdek's first pro portraits or Josh Kalis in his most high impact and intimate moments.
Mike's work spans 10 years at DC, and another decade shooting for brands like Chocolate and Girl as well as every major skateboarding publication known to man.
On Thursday, July 2 DC hosted the L.A. release of Mike's coffee table photo book, BLABAC PHOTO, as well as the company's first non-athlete pro model shoe, the Blabac Azure mid.
BNQT was on hand to celebrate the achievement and get the skinny on BLABAC PHOTO from the man himself, backed by his most fervent supporters. For more check out www.dcshoes.com/blabac10

Ha, look at Richie Jackson lurking in the background in the Lance Mountain interview. I think he could have given Melcher a run for his money at the World Beard and Mustache Championships, IMO.
