Gatorade has splashed into the action sports scene this year. They've endorsed some athletes, sponsored some events and even handed out a few thousand bottles of your favorite flavor at skateparks and summer camps nationwide. After years catering to the stick and ball crowd, the big G has finally figured out that skaters, BMXers and the rest also sweat. And also offer some pretty cool (and inspiring) moments.

In an attempt to capture that inspiration story, the Gatorade folks have focused behind the scenes via their Labor of Love video series (www.missiong.com), documenting the work that goes on to capture all those flashy edits from the filmers' standpoint.

Today we got another chapter compliments of skater Chaz Ortiz and filmer Nigel Alexander. Complete with product placement and a soothing monologue, this "making it happen" montage does well to capture the sentiments of the skater-filmer relationship all while providing us with a reason to avoid the hard labor of a 9-5 life.
