The La Jolla Group (parent company of Action Sports brands O Neill, Lost, Rusty and Metal Mulisha) recently moved into a state-of-the-art building in Irvine, CA complete with a basketball court, skate park, gym, cafeteria and 2,000 square foot retail showroom. On July 29, CEO Toby Bost and the rest of the La Jolla Group threw a party to celebrate the new company headquarters.
The evening began with The General , Brian Deegan arriving via helicopter to meet Toby Bost before giving way to a thrilling Metal Mulisha FMX jump demo for all in attendance. Soon after, the crowd grubbed on Wahoo s, enjoyed beverages and toured the innovative facility. Composed of the four aforementioned companies, the La Jolla Group granted each its own nook in the building. This cool concept allowed each brand to showcase its own identity and vibe. Not to mention, each brand had its own bar for the soiree (i.e. Lost served up its energy drink / vodka combos all night). A variety of La Jolla Group riders were on hand to mingle with the crowd and check out the facility. Metal Mulisha s Jeff Kargola and Ryan Hagy were to be seen, as well as O Neill s Gudauskas trio of Pat, Tanner and Dane.
As LJG CEO Toby Bost said, In this day and age, going to work is more than just showing up from 9 to 5. Its great to see an ASI leader like La Jolla Group step up and create a dynamic workplace for its employees to thrive. Check the pics above or take a gander at the video below to relive the evening.
