Great Britain-native, Jamie Bestwick, took the second consecutive BMX vert win of the season on Saturday at the Dew Tour’s Wendy’s Invitational.

On his path to becoming the BMX Vert Dew Cup champion for the fifth consecutive year, Jamie Bestwick earned a first-place score of 93.75 with a run that included an alley oop downside tailwhip. Gilroy, Calif.-native Chad Kagy pulled a flair double whip as part of his second-place finish that earned a 92.00.  Triple threat Steven McCann of Australia finished in third with a score of 90.25.

“I felt a lot of pressure going into this,” said Bestwick. “I’m glad I didn’t have to rely on my second run because the first was good enough. I’m stoked I could pull it out.”

The four-day competition featuring skateboarding, BMX and freestyle motocross is the third of five events on the Dew Tour, which will continue on to Salt Lake City and Orlando.
