Hey everyone, letting you know that the newest Props Issue is now in the can. Here's a little rundown of what you can expect to see in issue 77.
Deven Ferrer Bio
I've never actually met Deven Ferrer before, but I am very familiar with his riding. When George Boyd came to me and told me that he wanted to film a Props Bio for Deven, I was all about it. This Texan never disappoints with amazing bike control and unreal precision. Deven currently rides for Mutiny, and if there is any justice in this world you should be seeing a lot more of him in the future.
Brian Blyther Day In The Life
It's safe to say that if you grew up riding in the late eighties, then you probably consider Brian Blyther to be one of the legends of BMX freestyle. I definitely do, so when I got the opportunity to do a Brian Blyther DITL I jumped at the chance. Join Brian as he hits some So. Cal concrete parks in the morning, then join Officer Blyther for an evening on the streets of Montclair, CA for his shift as a Montclair Police Officer. Meth heads beware.
Alex Magallan
Denver to Albuquerque Roadtrip
Earlier in the year, I found myself having to drive from Denver to Austin. Not psyched on doing the drive by myself, I decided to make it productive by inviting four random up-and-coming shredders to ride along and stink up my van. Tom Dugan, Tom Smith, Alex Magallan, and Shane Weston hit the open road with me and kept the jokes coming and the clip count rising. You know that Dugan showed someone his goods.
2010 Masters
If you thought that the Dew Tours were getting out of hand, wait until you see the 2010 Masters. The Europeans are no joke when it comes to technical riding. Watch tons of hungry riders fight for their piece of the pie (and prize money) on the super ramp, dirt, and street course that the Masters had to offer in Cologne, Germany. First person to count how many tailwhips go down, wins a headache.
Nike 6.0 Standby Barcelona
As some of you probably already know, the Nike 6.0 Standby Barcelona video contest that went down a few months ago, was nothing short of mind-blowing. The US team consisting of Dennis Enarson, Rob Wise, Shane Weston, and Ty Morrow, and threw down banger after banger in the 7 days that they spent in Barcelona. In case you didn't get a chance to see all the madness, Props brings it to your television (along with the French, UK, and Germany edits in the bonus). This is high quality bike riding and video production that you will not want to miss.
That's it for Issue 77. Order it, watch it, then go ride your damn bike!
