The video game experts over at Gawker Media's Kotaku.com are reporting a hefty $119.99 price tag for Tony Hawk Ride, a new game due out October 13, 2009 that will ship with a plastic skateboard controller contraption of some sort. Kotaku also has a nice explanaition of how the controller works, and I'm not gonna lie: It looks like fun. Still, allow me to point out that a hundred and twenty bucks will still buy you a halfway decent complete skateboard setup these days if you shop around. If you're a kid new to skateboarding or a parent looking to keep your kid occupied with something cool, make the smart choice on this one.

Totino's Field Notes - Road to the 2010 US Open of Snowboarding. It's been an interesting year for Totino's team riders Danny Davis and Mason Aguirre. After starting strong in the Fall and early season, with great contest results at the Totino's Open in Breckenridge, both riders suffered injuries. Danny is out for the year, but Mason recently came back and plans to throw down at next week's US Open of Snowboarding in Stratton, VT.
