The train rolls on, as every major action sports brand launches its own video channel modeled after VBS.tv.  Up for today we have Volcom's new offering, Stoneyour.TV, which launched this week.  Volcom has evidently put some substantial cash behind this effort and, I gotta say, the results are pretty damn impressive as far as control, functionality, and quality go.  The content is quintessentially Volcom... that is to say, vaguely creepy, obtuse, and extremely image-conscious.  Par example: if you're in for a serious freak-out, watch the neo-goth, psych-out, alt quasi-student garbage below.  The press release is below this insane babble.  I gotta think this is the new bar for action sports brands out there looking to release a video channel.

In this world of technological advancement and computer savvy society, Volcom has configured a multimedia web based platform to take you to the next frontier and beyond.

At StoneYour.TV, you, the user, will be able to capture the true Volcom experience in the form of video and audio. It is a one-stop shop to view, share, download, embed and enjoy all Volcom web based videos of the past, present and future. There are a total of 8 channels to choose from: Skate, Snow, Surf, Art, Veeco, Girls, Music and Random.
The homepage includes all videos and may be browsed by scrolling the lower TV thumbnails. Currently, there are four featured "StoneYour.TV Original Programming" shows. They are: "The Volcom House Show", "Magnus Randell’s Inquisition", "Turtleneck" and "Leftovers Again?". These shows are aimed to entertain and educate you on Volcom and sometimes non-Volcom related topics. Be on the lookout for more to come.
