Darkside Stowe recently built what I am told is a really fun miniramp. The Rome Snowboards office crew happens to be laden with miniramp-skating-ringers (the Wat Ramp was skated to pieces back in the mid 2000's) and so they're teaming up with Darkside to kick of spring with a skate party: Heavy Metal Mini Ramp. It's been dumping snow in VT the past two days, but it's definitely skateboard season, as much as Mother Nature is trying to deny it. As the temps ride back into the 80s, head down to Stowe Friday night. In addition to some skateboardin' and hanging out with friends, there's free beer and hot dogs, so really, the whole thing is a win-win.
