etnies donation day give 2,000 shoes to LA's
homeless
As part of the 75th anniversary of the Los Angeles Mission the owner and CEO of etnies, Pierre-Andre Senizergues, came out last Friday to give over 2,000 pairs for shoes to the homeless.
In an article from Surfers Village, Senizergues explains;
"etnies congratulates the Los Angeles Mission on 75 years of helping get the homeless off the street and back on their feet," said Pierre-Andre Senizergues.
"etnies is celebrating our 25 year anniversary this year too and we can't think of a better way to celebrate than to serve the homeless together with hundreds of volunteers. Our hope is that these new shoes become a symbol for those who receive them -- it just takes one step forward to make a change."
Etnies has given over 32,000 pairs of shoes to the homeless community in Los Angeles and their giving doesn't stop there. Check out etnies first of 3 Pura Vida video of the Buy a Shoe Plant a Tree program, and make sure to get the full story on the etnies costa rican adventures here.
