X Games and Fuel TV, homies.ESPN and the X Games are somewhat notorious for keeping its content proprietary... just try shooting video or getting photo credentials to access the deck of the pipe.
In a surprising twist, ESPN today announced a deal with Fuel TV to further the reach of X Games content. So now along with your favorite Fuel shows like Built to Shred and Captain & Casey, you can watch Sal Masekela hype the buzz from Buttermilk without having to break from your previously scheduled shred programming.
ESPN to Collaborate with FUEL TV for Added Winter X Games Content Distribution
Networks Agree to Deal that Provides New Content and Additional Platform for Winter X Games Fans
ESPN and FUEL TV have collaborated to further serve Winter X Games viewers and all action sports fans. The six-month programming license agreement provides FUEL with 2 1/2 hours of exclusive Winter X Games ClassiX video content and allows for ESPN to distribute and promote Winter X Games programming on a network specifically targeted to action sports fans 24/7. Through a collection of promotional devices FUEL TV will also promote telecast dates and tune-in information for Winter X Games 14, Jan. 28
Jan. 31 on ESPN and ESPN 2.

This multi-network collaboration allows us to cater directly to an audience that has shown a strong desire for further Winter X Games content and reiterates our mission to satisfy all viewers.
ESPN will license four Winter X Games 13 updated ClassiX shows to FUEL TV, each show 30 minutes in length, which will begin rotation February 1st. In addition, FUEL will also air an ESPN produced Winter X Games 14 All Access Show, 30 minutes in length, with an air date to be determined.
ESPN and ESPN 2 will feature 24 1/2 hours of LIVE Winter X Games programming Jan. 28- Jan 31. ESPN 2 will also present XCenter, the Winter X Games daily late-night highlight program, from Jan. 28- Jan. 31, resulting in eight additional hours of programming for Winter X Games 14. Additionally, the Winter X Games will also be televised on ESPN
s International networks to 172 countries and territories in Latin America, the Pacific Rim, Middle East, Africa, Israel, and Canada.
