Transworld Business has a nice Behind The Lines: Element feature up this morning, catching up with Element marketing director Ryan Kingman. Among its revelations: Kingman talks about the new FLATLIGHT boards Element made at the request of new pro Levi Brown, and also mentions a new 5-board line they're calling the Element Shapers Program, a stylish line of cruisers and completes designed by Shut and Zoo York founder Rodney Smith and Chuck Hults of Deckcrafters, Madrid, Vision, and Schmitt Stix fame.
I like the Hults designs best, especially the oak Woody ($145 complete) and the bamboo Cutter ($160 complete), if you're in the market for a new cruiser board. Might make a nice Father's Day present?
