Persian Gulf - 93 degrees.

Anyone seen Kelly Slater?

Another odd contradiction was our discovery of surf in the 'flat' Persian Gulf! To beat the heat we took a cruise over the the beach to check out the Gulf.

Much to our surprise we show up and there are waves!

Some locals said there was a rare wind swell off the coast.

I went across the street and borrowed a surfboard from someone and went out to catch a few waves!

While I am pretty amateur at surfing at least I was enjoying the 93 degree water!
