Day ?
Not even sure what day it is right now, all I know is that we leave tomorrow and head back to San Diego. Went to Gordy’s Bike Shop yesterday to fix some spokes on Ed’s bike- Tom didn’t need any work because he says he doesn’t bend wheels. Got our grub on at IHOP and met up with Smoker Dave to go check out a couple fun ditches that looked like Fred Flinstone lived there for a minute. Made our way over to an area called The Slope to check out some rails when a couple cops in vests pulled up and basically told us we’d “be jacked” in a second if we got our bikes out of the truck. Gotta trust dudes in Kevlar, Okaley Thumps and tribal arm tats. Jeez. In the same area we got to ride a bike banked hip that Ed sessioned until Smoker had to bow out for work. Went to Outback Steakhouse, met up with the infamous Drew Hosselton to go ride a spot Tom thought was in Miami. Turns out its in Phoenix and he was ready. That’s about the time the action got hot and they started with the business tricks, so I’ve gotta keep that under wraps for now. We’ve got to do some bike work today for sure, some mangled metal. Apparently it's Valentine's Day today and we've got a stripper bar-b-que to go to tonight. Should be interesting- or at least we'll make it interesting.
