Danny Davis - out of the hospital.Though no details are available on his long term prognosis, Danny Davis was released yesterday from the Utah hospital where he underwent back and pelvis surgery from injuries sustained from an ATV crash on January 24.

Davis was riding an ATV early AM hours, Sunday the 24th when the ATV he was riding lost control, causing a crash into a gated fence in the Utah.

Danny had, the day before, won first place at the Dew Tour snowboard superpipe competition at Snowbasin and was favored to make the Olympic team. The injuries will sideline him for the remainder of the season. An offiical statement from his Facebook page said:

Danny Davis has been discharged from the Utah Hospital where his two surgeries were performed. Danny will remain in Utah for a period of time to participate in a nearby comprehensive rehabilitation program. Danny is moving right along, we are in awe of his strength.
