This week finds me a little bit ahead of the game, I'm currently filming for a road trip for Issue 77 (yeah, I know 76 isn't out yet - I'm a workaholic, deal with it). This is pretty much just a random trip, I picked 4 up and coming shredders and hit the road. Tom Dugan, Shane Weston, Alex Magallan, and Tom Smith all flew into Denver, CO where we started the first leg of the trip. Ted Van Orman was nice enough to put us up at his place and take some pics of the crew while in Denver. We can't thank him enough for letting us stink up his place. Thanks Ted, you rule.
Denver was super fun, we hit up the streets and some killer concrete parks. Dugan stepped up to the plate and went home with one of Denver's least picky residents. Ten seconds of conversation and it was on. Doogie left the building, only to lose cell phone power in the morning, then proceeded to spend $80 to get back to Ted's place because he had no idea where it was. After getting a cab to the wrong side of town, walking a few miles to a Wal-mart to buy a phone charger, and paying random citizens an arm and a leg to drop him off 15 blocks away from his destination, he finally rejoined the group.
Then we headed off to New Mexico.
Here are a few pics from the trip, be sure to check out more of Ted Van Orman's website for more of his photography.
