I like reggae music as much as the next guy. But I stop well short of using phrases like "Dis is the Island mon" and wearing faux dreadlocks. Canadian mountain dwellers on the other hand, apparently do not.
I bring this up because last weekend Mount Washington held a "Roots, Rocky and Reggae Festival." An awkwardly-named music and riding event sponsored by Rocky Mountain. Based on the post-event write up on NSMB the place was crawling with cheesy reggae-themed activities and even cheesier dudes trying to get some "level vibes" or whatever.
As far as the event goes it sounded like a fun day of riding. Something I don't know much about, since I'm too cynical to actually enjoy myself on a bike these days. Over and out.
