The Highland Claymore Challenge starts today and runs through the end of the week. There's $10,000 in cash up for grabs and a list of high profile riders showing up to compete. The New World Disorder crew is coming to town with Greg Watts, Cam Zink and friends. Expect more big names to appear on the qualifier list tomorrow. 

Last year's Claymore Challenge was the first true slopestyle content held in the Northeast, and by all accounts this year is far bigger. It will be interesting to see how hard everyone rides  - since most riders are coming off a string of jams and European contests and trying to stay healthy for Crankworx. Only time will tell. Stay tuned for more coverage.

Totino's Field Notes - Road to the 2010 US Open of Snowboarding. It's been an interesting year for Totino's team riders Danny Davis and Mason Aguirre. After starting strong in the Fall and early season, with great contest results at the Totino's Open in Breckenridge, both riders suffered injuries. Danny is out for the year, but Mason recently came back and plans to throw down at next week's US Open of Snowboarding in Stratton, VT.
