Nuclear Cowboyz motocross team members brought some smiles to the Loma Linda University Children's Hospital last week, when they stopped by for a visit. Riders Jimmy Fiztpatrick, Brody Wilson and Derek Guetter hung out with the patients on Thursday for some video games, photographs and signed some autographs. From an article motocross fan, Christopher Mokbel, 14 was excited to get some chill time with his favorite athletes; "It's a dream come true," he said. "I love dirt bikes. They're amazing. When you see (motocross) on TV, it doesn't look as big, but when you see it in real life, it's crazy.
As fun as it is for the kids, the Nuclear Cowboyz found it just as rewarding. Fitzpatrick was stoked to visit his fans.
"Anytime we can help give back and put a smile on a kid's face is definitely something we enjoy doing," he said. "It's cool for us to come out (because) we don't get to do stuff like this very often. And when we can, it's awesome to take advantage of it."
The guys will be riding this weekend at Citizens Business Bank Arena in Ontario, CA; check out the rest of the stops the Nuclear Cowboyz tour here.
