I'm sorry, I had to re-post this "History of the Butt Buoy"

Ã‚ Â Â Â Â Â It was a hot balmy day in the Mojave Valley June 2001. My friends and I were experiencing a father's day week end on the banks of the Colorado River. The river was unusually crowded this year. We were enjoying a cold beverage when we noticed that everyone was having a similar problem. Everyone had the same marker buoy. People were hooking up to other peoples buoys!! We figured there had to be a better way to distinguish your boats marker buoy from the rest. Then out of the corner of my eye I noticed two buoys tangled together. It looked like a pair of buns bobbing on the water. I looked to my left and saw this girl in a tight bikini. I thought, what a great way to individualize your buoy, make it look like a girls bottom in a bathing suit. So instead of using plain white round markers or old gallon milk jugs, you can have a truly unique marker buoy that will stand out above the rest. On the way home I shared my idea with friends. We all shared a laugh and thought what a great way to have fun and provide a unique product to our fellow boaters. We hope you have as much fun customizing your buoy as we did designing it.

Please let me know if anyone has bought one of these awesome butt buoys, on sale for $40 at www.buttbuoy.com. Or better yet, let me know if your butt buoy did a good job of standing out from the rest.

Shades of Skate

Shades of Skate

Early this summer BNQT filmer Grant Schubert hitched a ride with the Anon Optics skate team as they loaded into a rental RV and perused through the Pacific Northwest. The crew: Nuge, Clint Peterson, Brian "Slash" Hansen, Pat Melcher, Tom "The Bomb" Bonilla and Garreth Stehr show multiple shades of skate as they strum guitars by campfire at night and slay smooth concrete trannies by day.
