Cobe Mikacich, one of our sports most pronounced ambassadors, has opened his wakeboarding camp in Orlando Florida. Cobe's I-Ride Tour received such a great response at clinics across the country that he has now expanded to a fully operational wakeboard camp. The growing demand for positive coaching and an environment that promotes fun learning on the water is the driving force behind the Wakeboard Orlando camp.

The same concept that has worked so well on the I-Ride Tour for the last 11 years is duplicated at the camp. Cobe emphasize's the experience. Students spend time on the boat with pro athletes. They learn from personal coaching, from watching others and also from professional exhibitions. Wakeboard Orlando is the perfect place to come for a summer or winter getaway and some time on the water with a legend in the sport!

Wakeboard Orlando is located on Lake Ivanhoe in beautiful downtown Orlando. This is the best location for a wakeboard camp in Florida. We have three lakes to ride on and they are visible from the major interstate. Wakeboard Orlando is operated out of one of Orlando's largest pro shops, Ski World. Students have the advantage to demo and test out the latest equipment. Students also receive a discount on all products that Ski World offers. Cobe Mikacich is well-known  to the sport of wakeboarding. A former World Champion and professional rider for 15 years, Cobe has made his biggest mark in the industry with his I-ride tour. It is the longest running tour in the sport. The I-ride tour travels the country holding clinics for dealers and promoting the sponsors during this fun experience. Wakeboarding enthusiasts get personalized instruction and everyone gets to spend time with a legend in sport!

Jon Bemis, a Michigan native, moved down to Orlando three years ago. After working for the boat dealer Skier Pier, and spending summers at wakeboarding camps, Jon started working at Ski World. He is well-versed with all the latest products and equipment and, as an avid snowboarder, surfer and skateboarder, he has great credibility with our clients. Jon's knowledge and passion for the sport has been a driving force as we revamp this proven camp. He has shown his abilities as a strong, well-rounded coach.

Cobe's Training: Full Circle
"When I first arrived in Orlando 13 years ago, I trained for the Pro Tour at Ski World," said Cobe. "It was an ideal location then and it still is. I'm very happy to be back at a place that had such a positive influence on my professional career. This is the only camp where I trained and I'm so pumped to coach other wakeboarders at the place where I got my start."

Accommodations
When you come ride at Wakeboard Orlando, you can stay in a fully furnished lakefront home! Each room has full-size beds and plenty of space. The house also has a large TV room, game room with ping-pong, kitchen, dining room and lake-view porch. Make your reservation today. We look forward to making your Orlando experience the best it can be.

3 types of camps offered:

Weekend camp
5-Day weekly camp
Kids summer camp
The weekend camp is designed mostly for businessmen and women to get away on a long weekend. You can arrive Thursday evening or Friday morning. You will wakeboard three sets per day Friday through Sunday and depart Sunday evening.

The 5-day weekly camp operates Monday through Friday. This is great for all levels of riders and allows for as many sets as you can handle. You can also take one day trip to the Orlando Watersports Complex so you get a chance to ride at the cable park.

The kids summer camp is for kids aged 7-18. This is a day camp. Please drop off children by 9 am and pick them up by 4 pm. This is a great alternative to sending your kids away for the summer! They'll have a great time on the water!

While staying in our accommodations, transportation is provided to and from the airport and also to Lake Ivanhoe for wakeboarding everyday (If you decide that you would like to do additional sightseeing, we suggest that you might want to rent a car).

Breakfast and dinner will be provided for you at the house. Because we will not be returning to the house in between morning and afternoon sessions, you can choose from many lakeside dining options for lunch (not included in price of camp).

During the day, you will ride three sets and receive professional coaching from Cobe Mikacich and Jon Bemis. The instructions are personalized for your specific level and riding style. You will also be able to watch other wakeboarders and learn from what you see.

The best way to get better is to have fun on the water! Check out www.iridetour.com for more information.
