I realized that all of the photos I have of Vedo are ridiculous, so I went on his facebook to hunt down a good one. This one shows his sensitive, hardworking side. Imagine him drinking a Budweiser to get a fuller idea. p: Chris Georgia
There are so many blogs popping up this fall, even compared to the last few years, the past few months have seen an overwhelming influx of new blogs, created by both riders and industry folks. Maybe it's the lull between summer and winter, and everyone has free time to start posting photos and ramblings of their exciting/mundane adventure, but regardless, there's a lot to look at now, so desk jockeys and internet-mavens everywhere have their hands full scrolling through everything. In an effort to highlight some of the ones that are particularly interesting, here is this week's reccomendation: Mike Azevedo's 365 Days of Nothing.
Mike Azevedo is awesome. He's a true East Coaster, an NHD, and is one of the funniest people out here. Vedo is also a really great photographer. He even takes photos for magazines and you know that means he is above average in the finger-clicking department. He also skates, drinks, and causes mischief like it's his job...which it is, except in the summertime when he has to paint to make money, too. Then it's his side job.
Vedo started a blog this fall, 365 days of nothing. It's simple: Vedo takes photos and puts witty/sometimes jerky comments under them. But, with Vedo's talent at creating compelling images and his biting wit and off-color remarks, it's awesome. I wish he would update it every day so I could look at it all the time, but he updates it very often, still, and it's not even winter.
So far, the blog is populated with skate trips, metal shows, tattoos, and fine dining, which pretty much means that it has everything that you would like and want to see in a blog. So, read it. It's awesome.

Skate trip photos like this one of Mr. Henry Padden.

Mikey Gallant is a staple on the blog. And for good reason. Mikey rulez.
