The twists and turns in the saga of the Bareass Vail Lift Guy Story continue to throw even us seasoned journalists for loops.  It now turns out that the man who took the photos of the dangling bareassed skier is named Marty Odom.  Marty used to work for Sharpshooters, the on-mountain photography company that is usually tasked to photographing nice well-to-do families in expensive jackets on their ski vacations... not so much upside down middle-aged junks flapping in the stiff Aspen Mountain Breeze.  Despite his lack of experience with the genre, Marty got some pretty admirable shots of the scene, so much so that he claims to have received calls from "Korea, Norway, Finland, the Today Show, Extra, Fox, ABC and everything in between." Now, Marty was off-duty at the time, and he took the pictures with his own personal camera, yet he has still been suspended indefinitely from his job.  Not only that, poor Marty signed a no-compete clause with Sharpshooters, meaning he can't reap the enormous windfall he would surely get by selling rights to the photos, as Sharpshooters is claiming they own it.  Tell us how all this makes you feel Marty:
“I feel like now I’m on a blacklist with Vail Resorts and I won’t be able to get a job anywhere now,†he said. “That sucks, because I’ve been here for a few years. This is my home mountain.â€ÂÂÂ
