Now presenting "WaveJet" - the fat kook's final solution to catching waves and avoiding noodle arm.

I have to admit that in my 20 years of surfing I have often dreamed of a device like this. Effortlessly paddle out the back, never miss a wave, blast past the aggro pack when the big set breaks the horizon...

Then again...doesn't all that free exercise (or lack thereof) defeat the purpose of surfing? Losing touch with Nature? Never burning off your dick-do? Seems suspect. But this comment from "Bahamasroy" sums it up best we think:

"Now couch potatoes with money are going to get into surfing. Next, they are going to throw a computer into the surfboard, so you can scavenge the internet while surfing. If you think Snappers, Waikiki, Malibu are overcrowded today, wait till these jet powered surfboards become mainstream. Welcome to the rat race!"
