Ryan Nyquist backflip at BMX Park Prelims during the
Toyota Challenge Dew Tour in Salt Lake City

It was a sunny, blue sky day in Salt Lake City and the stands of the BMX park where filled with excited fans eager and waiting to see bar spins, tail whips and even a combination of the two. The Preliminary round of the BMX park lasted two and a half hours as there were 30 bikers that (to the untrained eye) appeared to all be equally as impressive.

But just like any other contest, it would not be a fun if there weren t those few specific riders that prove to have a bigger bag of tricks and consistency to push them to the top. Standing above the rest, the top three bikers from the prelims where 3rd place, Dennis Enarson, 2nd place Brett Banasiewicz, and 1st ranked spot went to Daniel Dhers.
