Ok…today at Alta was a total junk show. 17” inches of fresh snow, only two lifts open, and it was dumping and way too many eager hackers, pros and mediocre skiers wanted to get on the hill at the same time. The single line for Collins lift went to the parking lot and then looped back around. Ridiculous!!

Finally at 11am the girl posse decides to head out and fare the craziness. I've never seen heards of people at Alta like I did today. Over a 30 to 45-minute wait just to get on the lift.

The crowd thinned out around 11:30 and by 1:30pm it was deserted. It was a beautiful day of skiing. We were having too much fun. I hit a cliff and double ejected. I think my din setting needs to be checked. Face shots were happening left and right and I even had a half dozen or so over the headshots, a snorkel would have come in handy.
