We wrote about a guy named Nick Popovich a few weeks ago. He reposseses airplanes, which has to be one of the coolest/most badass jobs on the planet. When he's not being held up at gun point or being detained in Hatian prison he's collecting seven-figure repo fees from his clients. (read the full article about Nick on Salon.com)
It seems like Nick's story was too good for Hollywood to pass up. Gawker reports that Alex Kurtzman and Roberto Orci, writers of both Star Trek and Transormers (as well as executive producers of The Hangover) are putting together a film about "high-end, daredevil, globetrotting repo men" based in part on the stories of Mr. Popovich.
If the film is anything like the Salon article describes Nick's life to be then we're in a for a treat. I'm picturing Lord of War meets Catch Me if you Can.
