The V.I.O POV1 and other offered cameras attach
easily to most helmets and goggles. If you want a POV camera for your next trip but can't quite scrounge up enough money to buy one, then you can rent a camera from AdventureEye Video Systems. For around 100 bucks, you can spend 14 days with 1 of 6 offered cameras designed to withstand extreme weather and provide great POV footage.
You can choose between the VholdR Contour HD, Contour HD1080, GoPro HD, HD Mask, SD Mask, or POV.1 - all well-established helmet and goggle cams. For $25, you can get a damage waiver as insurance or you can take the risk and pay $75 without the waiver. Your time clock starts the day after the receipt and you just send it back to AdventureEye by the end of the 14 days.
Considering that these cameras retail for around $300, if you plan on using one for more than three weeks then you should probably just buy it. But if you want a camera for that "once-in-a-lifetime" trip or spontaneous adventure, then this is a great option. For more info, visit the AdventureEye Video Systems website.
