Luke Mitrani Signs with AMPAMP Energy today announced that Luke Mitrani will join its current roster of snowboarders which is comprised of Kevin Pearce, Mason Aguirre, Keir Dillon and Hannah Teter rounding out an extremely talented team.

I m really psyched about signing with AMP Energy, said Mitrani. This has been a busy year for me and it s not going to slow down any time soon. I m stoked to have the support of AMP Energy, on and off the hill. I am really happy to be on the Amp team with my Frends Mason and Kev; it is a cool partnership in many ways.

Mitrani had a breakout year last season and has high expectations for 2010 and beyond. In 2009, Mitrani earned a multiple podium finishes including a second place finish at the New Zealand Open, a third place finish at the U.S. Open of Snowboarding and third place at The Intelligent Design in Park City, Utah.

From Mammoth, Calif. by way of Stratton, VT, Mitrani, 19, made history at the age of 12 when he became the youngest member of the U.S. Snowboarding Team. He is the fourth member of the famed FRENDS snowboarding crew to ride with AMP Energy, joining Pearce, Aguirre and Dillon.
