A last hurrah of winter?

But, I did not give up. I set the alarm for 6:30 a.m. to check snow reports of everything within an hour of me (Copper, Key, WP, Vail, A-Bay, Breck, Beaver Creek). Alas, the weather man didn't let me down. The Beav was reporting 16 of fresh. Glory. Out I went. Skied pow for a few hours by myself. I generally dislike skiing by myself, but this was awesome.
As I sit writing this, it's still snowing in Summit County. Nice. Perhaps tomorrow's Gaper Day will need to be a real ski day instead. As much as I love Gaping it out, let it snow since this could be one of our last blasts of winter. It is just about April, after all.
For the rest of you enjoying what could be your final shot of winter, enjoy it. It seems like many of us are getting that big blast. Cheers to the last hurrah!
(ps - that pic is not from today. Didn't have the camera with me, unfortunately.)
