On Tuesday , December 20th a 7 year old boy at the Sugar Bowl Ski Resort in Norden, California fell 60 feet off a ski lift at roughly 11:15 am. The boy was rushed to Renown Medical center in Reno where he had surgery to reduce pressure in his skull from a head injury. It was noted that he was wearing a helmet at the time of the accident and was a member of the Sugar Bowl Ski Team. Sugar Bowl issued a statement expressing its condolences and the resort is currently cooperating with state investigators.
