Similar to the Crooks and Castles cobranded sneaker, the 5Boro collab also uses the popular Fourty-Four Hi model from Vans. However, the two companies have taken decidedly different approaches. The Crooks shoe was a sophisticated design taking some obvious inspiration from Gucci with the colorway and patterns. In the case of 5Boro the famed NYC crew flipped the shoe with a flat black/pink color scheme, loud side print and all over print laces. Definitely a cool shoe.
