Pat Burgener lands first switch BS triple cork 1440
At only 16 years old, Nitro Snowboards rider, Pat Burgener lands the world's first swtich backside triple cork 1440. While not totally stoked on his season, Burgener decided to set up a "perfect jump" and work on some new tricks.
In an article from TransWorld Snowboarding, when asked if the trick was planned out Burgener explains, "Not really. About a month ago I made a bet with one of my friends but I wasn t very serious about doing it. The last couple weeks I felt like I needed to ride a bit for myself, no comps, no training sessions, no obligations, just me and a good set up with enough air time to try some new tricks.
Here's the video of Pat Burgener landing the trick and the rest of his day of shredding below.
Make sure to get to full interview on TransWorld site too!
